At 10:00 Captain Christos Vlachos and his crew will welcome you aboard the Adonis, our 65 feet schooner, and after a safety briefing, we can enjoy the marvels that makes Santorini so unique, from the sea and that means: from a truly different perspective.
Based on our knowledge of the island and dictated by weather conditions, we suggest an itinerary for the day, but of course this can be tailored to your needs and preferences.
For this full day cruise we suggest the following:
10:00 A.M. After we depart from Athinios Port, we will cruise to the Nea Kameni volcano to visit its hot springs, sulphurous waters praised for their benefits to the skin.
10:30 A.M. approx. is our scheduled arrival time and we will stay here until 11:30 A.M. Please take notice that because of the shallowness of the springs we cannot enter by boat. This means that upon arrival we will have to swim from the boat until the shallower springs, so it is essential that you are a strong swimmer to participate. Furthermore, please keep in mind that the springs might stain light colored bathing suits.
After our swim in the hot springs of Nea Kameni, there will be the opportunity to hike the volcano. This is optional of course and guests that rather not hike can remain on board and take off with the Adonis to one of the many bays the volcano offers. For guests that would like to visit Santorini’s Geo-park: You will be joined by Eugene, the host aboard the Adonis, and he will share his knowledge on Santorini and its volcanoes. The hike on the Nea Kameni volcano will last until approx. 13:30.
At around 13:30 we leave the volcano and head south, towards the Akrotiri area, with its lighthouse, the Red beach, White beach and Mesa Pigadia. After a cruise alongside the highlights we will reach Mesa Pigadia at approx. 14:45, and we stay until 16:15 to allow for a swim in the crystalline waters and to enjoy a lovely meal aboard the Adonis.
At 16:15 we will leave the Akrotiri area and cruise passed some of Santorini’s better known towns, perched on the cliffs. As we cruise north we pass Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli and will than reach Oia. Seen from the sea, this makes for stunning sceneries. The journey from Akrotiri to Oia will take until approx. 18:15 and we will remain in the Oia area until 18:45 to enjoy this world famous town from a different perspective.
At 18:45 we leave the Northern tip of Santorini and cruise to the island Thirassia, which we will reach at around 19:00. Korfos bay offers crystal clear waters in a picturesque setting. Ideal for another swim and diner on board. We remain here until 20:00 and then it’s about time for the sunset.
At 20:00 we depart from Thirassia, cruising along its cliffs, towards the sunset as we open the sails… After sunset we return to the port Athinios, where you will be met by one of our drivers for a save drive to you hotel.

Cancellation Policy

No fee will be charged for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the confirmed cruise departure time.
Non-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the cruise departure time will result in 100% cancellation fees of the total amount.
No fee will be charged in the event of cancellation due to restrictions imposed by the Greek Port Authorities regarding departure, particularly in reference to adverse weather conditions.
Important Information
- Please note that the cruise does not include hiking on the volcano.
- For your safety and compliance with regulations, all yachts will anchor offshore. Approaching beach shores composed of sand or gravel without mooring infrastructure is strictly forbidden.
